Dear Karl and all Saur family and friends,
I only met Dick once--when he came to UVa to visit Karl--but I feel a close kinship with him through my many conversations with Karl about families, parents, and life. May God grant him eternal life and may you all find consolation knowing that he and Marjorie are forever united in love.

Dick and I were great friends and team mates while at Hazeltine Corp. The game we played was Duplicate Bridge. Our greatest claim to fame was winning the Long Island Industrial Bridge League Championship 1986-1987. Dick also gave me significant guidance and direction on how best to compete and obtain the necessary Government and Hazeltine funding to support my small Research Lab group. Over the years his efforts made my Research Labs Managerial job significantly easier. Thank you Dick.
