Mr Richard D. Saur

SAUR - Richard of So. Setauket, LI, formerly of Farmingdale, LI, on April 20, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved husband for 66 years of the late Marjorie, who died in October 2014. Loving father of Judith Saur (Richard Riddle), Paul, Kathryn Mascioli, Richard M. (Laura), Karl, Drew (Charles Woolever). Cherished grandfather of Michael Mascioli. Enlisted service (Pfc) in United States Army 1942-1946. Graduate of Cornell University College of Engineering, Class of 1948. Employed by Hazeltine Corporation, 1948-1997. Devoted fan of the New York Mets from their opening season. Friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 411 Old Town Rd. Setauket. Visiting hours Friday 9-10AM at funeral home. Funeral Mass Friday 10:45AM at St. James RC Church, Setauket. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
