It is with heavy heart That I heard of Fred's passing. I last saw him in Mather as our gurneys passed one another in the radiology dept. Fred was always caring when I visited the store and always asked about my children who now in their 30's but he always remembered their younger lives. Besides his dedication to the quality of his products can't be overlooked. RIP my friend.

Dear Julie- we are so sorry to hear about Fred's passing. We are deeply sorry for your tremendous loss. Fred always gave us a warm welcome at the store and he made us feel at home. He would always speak to our four children and tell them that they would work at the store when they were old enough. He would ask them about their sports and he always made them feel so special. We will greatly miss his smiling and welcoming face and his wonderful sense of humor.
Love,
Dannielle and Mark Folkman and Family

Julie, I am deeply saddened by the news, I found out late Last night. I am greatful that I stopped by during the storm and after you gave me his number, I reached out to Fred, to lend support, he was very thankful. I say this with a heavy heart, as those that new Fred realize the kind and caring person he was, for me he was boss, friend, teacher, mentor, therapist, and so much more. He gave so many of us the opportunity to work, and for some of us, he gave us responsibility, for which I am eternally greatful, all things that have served me and others well in life. I can go on forever and ever. Fred was truly a great person and will be remembered forever.

Fred was always a good guy, always something good to say to those he got to know. He will be missed, he left us too early. He would always ask about how my wife Val was (she is a master gardener and worked at Cress Florist years ago) he would ask ...So, where you going today' as we are always on the move and traveling.
