A year has passed since you left these earthy bounds into God's arms and joined Celia Marie in Paradise. And in all of the days since, you remain close in my daily thoughts and in my life's journey. Daddy I'm so sad you're gone but I know it's what you wanted. Thank you for my life. You'll Be in my Heart and live there with mom forever. Until we meet again Captain Art, my father, my daddy and my hero....

Thanks to all the people who have been friends with my dad, the boys at the Yacht Club and all of our relatives. It meant so much to my dad that you all came and it meant so much to us as kids as well.

We are saddened by the news of your dad's passing but so happy for all of you that you had him in your life for so many years, and that he got to see his Leonard kids grow, meet his grandchildren and great grandchildren! You all know how much we all loved him, and of course your mom too. I'll always remember the tribute he wrote about Dad after Dad's passing in the TWA retirees newsletter -- how he had lost his best friend. That was so sweet! Mom and Dad from heaven are with Celia and Art now eating your mom's scampi and laughing all together.
Love that awesome picture that you posted -- that's the Mr. Leonard I'll always remember.
Love to all of you,
Evelyn and Les from Heaven, Michele and Roger and Evelyn and Eric, Linda and Jimmy and Jayvin
Love you guys and thought with all of you.

As a child Gram would look into the sky when a plane flew above and she'd say to me, "there's Uncle Arthur!" She adored him as did my mom. I can only hope my children have as close a relationship as he and my mom did.

I will miss his stories, baked goods, feisty spirit and our many phone calls. I loved him very much!

Love, Pam and family

Henry and I were so sorry to hear of Uncle Arthur's passing. We will always remember his crazy pants, sharp whit, twinkley eyes, fierce love for his family and the special bond he had with his sister Joyce.

We will all miss Mr. Leonard's apples pies, his jokes and the many laughs he gave to all of us at the office. He absolutely loved sharing about his children and grandchildren. His meals on wheels and his buddies that he went out to lunch with on Wednesdays. Most of all we will all miss the wisdom he gave all of us through his life's lessons and the the beautiful stories he shared from his years of being a pilot.

A CRUSTY, STUBBORN RHODE ISLANDER WHO ADORED CELIA, LOVED HIS CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN, WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR HIS FRIENDS AND THE BEST NEIGHBOR ONE COULD POSSIBLY HAVE.
HIS ENGAGING SMILE AND WRY SENSE OF HUMOR WILL BE MISSED.
WE LIVED NEXT DOOR FOR OVER FORTY YEARS AND NEVER EXCHANGED AN ANGRY WORD - IF ONLY NATIONS COULD DO SO.

We were fortunate to live on the same street as Mr. and Mrs. Leonard. We will always remember the apple pies he was so proud of that he brought to the Coraway Road "Meet and greets." A good neighbor and a fine man.
