Richard E Mills

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Richard E Mills, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 86.

Richie was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and retired to Port Jefferson, NY alongside his wife, Annmarie of 63 years. He was a beloved husband, and father to Michael, Mary Ellen Gilbert (Steve) James Mills (Susan)  Kathleen, Brooks, Maureen Marcello ( Keith) , Richard Mills Jr (Sabina) Martin… And the Best Pop Pop to 15 lucky grand children.

Richie is also survived by his older brother Joseph– who both shared a devoted career to FDNY and vacations in the Adirondacks. He was a man of strong, faith, love and devotion, the greatest towards his family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the Mills family welcomes contributions to be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  .
