Anthony Farruggia

Anthony Farruggia was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who left us on May 24, 2023 to rejoin his late wife Barbara with God.  Anthony loved spending time with his family but when not doing that he could always be found tinkering with something to make it work again or some type of project from electrical to fixing his old jeep.  If he wasn’t found there you could find him fishing off the docks by Stony Brook Yacht Club.  He was always, the first to help a family member or neighbor when needed earning the title at times of the neighborhood father/grandfather.  He is survived by his five children: Irene (Jay), Jean (Francis “Frankie”), Joseph, Kelly (Robert “Bobby”), Jamie (Roy), and John O’Donnell.  He will always be known as Poppy to his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kaitlyn (John), Kelsey (John), Benjamin, Abigail, Hailey (Brendan), Katherine, Natalie, Kylie, Lexey, Samantha, Griffin, Gavin, Ryan, Brayden, Brody, and Lily.
