Veronica (Ladendorf) Miehle | January 25, 1928 - January 25, 2023
After gracing the world with her vibrant demeanor and effervescent personality for 95 years, Veronica (Roni) Miehle has returned to be with the Lord. On January 25, 2023, Veronica died peacefully with her daughters at her side. Full of life until the end of her time on this earth, Veronica was an accomplished woman of many talents. Possessing a quick wit and a creative mind, Roni was a woman of faith and family. A mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; Roni (or Nannie to those closest to her), was a force of strength, determination, and resiliency.
Veronica was born in the Bronx on January 25, 1928 to her loving parents Vincent and Rose Ladendorf. She is predeceased by her husband Robert and is survived by her three daughters; Veronica Cox, Virginia Bryant, and Valerie Doyle. In addition she was a doting grandmother to her grandchildren; Justin, Jake, Jenica, Katrina, and Brendan; and great-grandchildren, Walter and Vera.
Veronica exemplified the value of fortitude and never giving up on a dream. Desiring to be an artist from an early age, Veronica decided to embrace this gift later in life with great success, becoming an accomplished decorative artist and an active member of the local artist community. Her artwork and creative spirit continues to live on in the homes of many who were privileged to know her.
