Sarah J Terry

Sarah J. Terry, age 44, of Terryville, NY passed away on June 1, 2022. Beloved daughter of Clifford E. Terry, adored sister of Heather A. Terry, cherished dogmom of Bandito, treasured friend of many. 

Sarah was the light of every room and the heart of all who had the privilege to know her. She will be remembered most for her infectious laughter; one could not help but join in as she laughed herself to tears (usually over some ridiculous pun). She was an avid music lover, ready to sing along and dance to anything that stirred her soul . She loved connecting with nature and had a keen eye for capturing the beauty of every adventure through photography, often radiating childlike joy over each new discovery, whether it be a newly budding flower, an aged gnarly tree, a hidden waterfall, she found her center amongst it all, and she loved to share these special moments with family and friends. She had a passion for life and a love for everyone with whom she shared hers. We will miss her always.

In lieu of flowers, Sarah would love for donations to be made to your local animal shelter.  Sarah had a deep connection with animals; domestic pets and wildlife alike were drawn to her wherever she went, no doubt due to her kind heart and caring nature.  She personally supported the efforts of Star Foundation Long Island (Middle Island, NY) and Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center (Huntington, NY).
