Johnny Vargas passed away suddenly on Monday, October 5th 2020 in Port Jefferson, NY at the age of 37. He will be loved be remembered by his wife, daughters, parents, siblings, family, and friends.

Johnny was born on November, 17th 1982 in Port Jefferson, NY. He graduated from Comsewogue High school in the year 2000. He worked at Coliseos and Branchinellis for many years until he was introduced to the electrical industry by his cousin Henry. He first started with commercial electrical work then moved to doing high end residential electrical work with his Henry at Vue Electric. That was his most recent job. If you had the pleasure of knowing Johnny, you knew he was a very hardworking , friendly and loyal man. He was always offering a helping hand and always working on a project, whether it was at his house or someone else’s.

Johnny was a devoted husband and father. He and Chanelle welcomed their baby girl, Adrianna, into this world on November 12th, 2018. Adrianna will be reminded of what a great, loving, and playful father he was and how much he truly adored his little family by her sister, Navienna, who Johnny treated like his own from the moment he came into her life. On June 29th, 2019, Johnny and Chanelle celebrated their wedding day. That day looked to be the best day of his life, where he celebrated love with his family and friends. Johnny was friendly with anyone he came across. Everywhere he went, he knew someone. Seeing him would put a smile on your face automatically from how approachable and easy-going he was. Johnny’s ability to interact and get along with anyone was admirable.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Maria; paternal grandmother, Maria; his parents, Juan and Carmen; siblings, Alexander, Alberto, and Rita; nephew, Deandre; and niece, Lauriella.

We thank you all for the kind messages we’ve received during this shocking and tragic time. We appreciate all of the support, Johnny has touched so many lives in so many different ways and we will always keep his memories alive.
