Idalesia Vielka Atherley

Idalesia Vielka Atherley AKA Lesie was born on March 7, 1986 at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn New York to Gloria Poblete and Raul Atherley. She attended Global Studies Middle School in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn and graduated from Edward R. Morrow High School in Midwood, Brooklyn.

Lesie spent her youthful years in Las Cruces, New Mexico and El Paso Texas before coming to live in Crown Heights with her father as an adolescent. She moved to Baltimore, Maryland as a young woman and then to Arizona and finally settling in El Paso Texas.

Lesie was continuing her education by studying psychology at an online university. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the water and spending time with close family and friends. Lesie was a devoted mother, daughter and sister.

She is survived by her mother Gloria and father Raul; son Aidyn; grandmother Elsie Francis; sisters Tasha and Kia; God-sister Ghania, brothers Robert and Nathan and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins and Godparents.
