Eveline Safina

Eveline Safina was a loving mother, wife, caring grandmother and beloved sister. She passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 77.

Eveline was born on March 3, 1945 in Wassenaar, Netherlands. In her early years, Eveline was a flight attendant for Alitalia Airlines. She loved jettsetting around the world and spoke five languages. She had adventures around the globe and her favorite places to travel were Thailand, Morocco and Africa.

She met the love of her life Frank while living in Italy. Eveline and Frank had a beautiful love story. They lived in Rome until Frank finished medical school. They left Italy to start a new life in the United States and were married and started a family.

Eveline loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She said her greatest achievement in life was being a mother and an Oma. Eveline was an amazing cook and everyone that came to her kitchen enjoyed a gourmet meal. She always filled her home with love and warmth. She loved trips to the beaches and taking boat rides with her husband and children. When she wasn’t at the beach you could find her splashing in her pool. Eveline’s favorite family vacation was with her children to Mexico.

Eveline is survived by her children, Marieka, Monique, Vanessa, Paul, seven grandchildren, sisters Noor, Marijke, Marie-Christine, brothers Frank, Herman and Rein.
