Siegel, Vashel, Edna (nee Blauvelt) 101 years old of Huntington, passed suddenly on April 20, 2022. Beloved wife of the late George Siegel and the late Vincent Vashel. Mother of the late George Siegel. Predeceased by her sisters, twin Gertrude Kopp, Gladys Siegel, Mildred Curran Saderholm and brother Arthur Blauvelt.

Proud Great Aunt of 26 children and Great-great aunt of 42.
Active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Huntington Hospital Volunteer 2500 hours, Huntington Senior Citizens, St. Elizabeth’s Auxillary Knights of Columbus, St. Hugh’s Widows and Widowers Club, Volunteer Hostess at the Town of Huntington Beach House.
Edna was an avid reader. She loved to travel and line dance. She crocheted over 200 baby hats for newborn babies at Huntington Hospital.

Funeral Mass at St. James R.C. Church Setauket Monday April 25th, 2022 at 10:45 AM. Burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery.
