Donald Ensley

Donald Ensley, age 85 passed away on June 2, 2021, after battling acute respiratory failure due to Covid-19. Donald died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.  Donald was born on May 1, 1936, to William and Nora Ensley in Thomasville, North Carolina where he grew up with his four siblings.

As a young man, Donald moved to Brooklyn, New York where he met, courted, and married Patricia Clarke on March 13, 1965.  They left Brooklyn and moved to South Setauket, New York in 1971, where their raised their six children, Michele, Adrienne, Denise, Erica, Donald, and Patrick. 

Donald leaves behind his wife, children and three grandsons (Anthony, Mathew, and Christopher). Donald was a kind and loving husband to Patricia, a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. 

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bryant Funeral Home, located at 411 Old Town Road, East Setauket, NY 11733.
