Daniel M. Johnson

It is with a heavy heart that we share the unfortunate news of the passing of Daniel M. Johnson, who left us far too soon on Monday December 27, 2021. Dan was an incredible father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He had a lively and kind personality that lit up every room, and he was adored by everyone that crossed his path. Dan attended the Comsewogue School District during his younger years and went on to receive his degree from the University at Albany. A 25+ year resident of Middle Island, Dan was heavily involved in the Longwood community particularly through coaching his daughter Alison in multiple sports for several years. His passion for sports led him to supporting Alison in her collegiate lacrosse career at Adelphi University, where he was a devoted Panther fan. Dan’s love of life and those closest to him will live in our hearts forever, and we will miss him deeply.  Daniel's loving family will cherish his memory:
