Constance M. Vasques

Loving wife of Francis Vasques.  Beloved mother of Frank (DeeDee), Michael (deceased), Anne (David), John (Patty), Terry and Cathy.  Cherished grandmother of Sister Christopher Marie, Joseph (Christina), Stephen (Denise), Michelle (Johnny), Raymond and Bobby.  Great grandmother of Olivia and Stella. 

Connie was born on May 20, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Michael and Mary Cunningham.  Devoted sister to Margaret (deceased), Michael, Maureen (deceased), Terry and Charles.  Connie and Frank met and were married in Resurrection Catholic Church, Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn on October 29, 1955. .They moved to Port Jefferson Station in 1967 where she lived the rest of her days.  She was fortunate enough to spend her last several weeks alert and surrounded by family and friends.  She passed peacefully in her sleep.

Connie had a great devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  She had her rosary beads next to her at all times.  She had a very funny sense of humor and we enjoyed her Connie-isms..  She was a fantastic cook and no one could beat her Lasagna or Irish Soda Bread.  She will be dearly missed.
