Christopher N. Batuyios

Beloved son of Nicholas and Claire.  Loving brother of Robert and his wife Linda.  Cherished Uncle of Nicholas, Dimitrios, Chris, and Emanuel.

Christopher had intellectual and physical disabilities, he may not have understood many things but he understood love.  He knew how to give love and receive love.  He had a significant influence on the lives of all who knew him and loved him.  He taught us compassion and many other things and he made us better human beings.  We loved him very much.  He will always be in our hearts and thoughts.  May his memory be a blessing.

We would like to express our gratitude to the personnel at HARC Group home in Shoreham where Chris lived the last six years. 

Also many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Peconic Medical Center and Mather Hospital for taking care of Chris’s medical needs and to the rehabilitation centers of  Waters Edge and Westhampton Nursing Center.
