Anson Bruce Seaman

Anson "Bruce" Seaman passed on December 19, 2019 at the age of 77; he resided in Stony Brook/Setauket his adult life and was the devoted husband of Lana and dedicated father of Melissa Atkinson, Dorothy Gulotta and Ronnie Lindsay.  He is survived by brother Kevin and sister Lorna Presant.  He was enjoyed by grandchildren Erin, Mallory and Tiffany.

Bruce attended LIU (CW Post) and Pasons College.  He Served the Reserve Supply Corp of LI (Mineola) as General Manager and was the Owner/Operator of the Island Green Golf Complex (Selden).  Bruce was an avid and accomplished golfer and enjoyed his long term membership at the St. George's Golf & CC as well as his play at the Great Rock and Willow Creek courses.  

Bruce's many friends regarded him fondly as being "one of a kind"; his infectious good nature, generosity, affability and unselfishness made him stand-out to all with whom he was in contact.  His lifetime availability to contribute to others no matter what the need has endeared him to family and friends and will serve as his legacy to be remembered, respected and cherished forevermore.
