Alice Seal

April 30th 1941 – July 15th 2021

Born Alice C. Lotz, the daughter of William and Alice Lotz and beloved wife of James W. Seal, died peacefully on July 15th, 2021.

We celebrate the life of a remarkable woman.  Raised in Mineola, and resident of Port Jefferson and E Setauket she was a former office manager at Mather Memorial Hospital.  Widowed at age 47, she sacrificed to take care of her 3 children, Janet, Bob and Andy.  She later lived with her daughter Janet and son in law Alex Badalamenti and helped raise her beloved grandchildren Michael and Cara.  She was always up for a monopoly game with them and no one makes better Jam or Linzer tarts than her. She will be greatly missed by her brother Paul and her sister in laws Barbara Lotz and Barbara Seal.  Barbara Seal and her close friend Barbara Badalamenti will miss her and the walks and lunches with their dear friend. She loved to spend time in her garden and talking about gardening with her beloved daughter in law Amy. Alice is predeceased by her brother Bill Lotz, sister in law Gail Lotz, brother in law Ken Seal, sister in law Caroline Seal, daughter in law Stacia Seal.   She will be so missed by all.
