Paul E. Rademacher
April 14, 1938 ~ August 6, 2017 (age 79) 79 Years OldShare Tribute:
The family of Paul Rademacher is saddened to announce his passing on August 6, 2017. Paul cherished family above all else, the loving husband of Kathy and proud dad of David, Kristen, Thomas and Paul. Paul was a true homebody and loved being king of his little castle at the end of Mud Road. He was a master of many trades and could design, build and fix just about anything. Paul was an avid gardener and spent many waking hours tending the grounds of the home he loved so much. He enjoyed the birds and wildlife that kept him company in the yard with the possible exception of the chipmunks against whom he waged a spirited exchange of digging holes and filling holes in his prized lawn. Paul had a long and happy career as a systems engineer starting with Sperry Gyroscope in the 1960s and ending with Northrop Grumman in 2012 at age 75. He always advised that if you find what you love to do, you will never work a day in your life.Paul and Kathy enjoyed hosting family gatherings where Paul began every dinner with a wry toast. He was a keen political observer, engaging all who crossed his path in a passionate debate of the current political scene. His dry, witty sense of humor was a source of delight for his family and friends. In lieu of flowers the Rademacher family requests that donations be made to the Stony Brook University Children’s Hospital.
