Mr John M. Savage

Dear John (My Husband, Our Dad, My Son, Our Brother, Brother-In-Law, Uncle and Friend),

You are our family’s “true north.”  You lived life with high integrity, clear purpose, great compassion, admired work ethic, and a fierce love for your family and friends.  Your sense of humor was unparalleled, and although at times inappropriate – it was always welcomed (and your children will need counseling).  You were – and continue to be – a wonderful role model for Christopher and Ryan (your greatest gifts) and a continued strength for us – your family.

When we found out about your life-threatening illness, it was the saddest day in each of our lives.  Through your fight, you demonstrated great resilience – the same resilience you have shown throughout your entire life.  YOU ARE OUR HERO!

Now it is time for you to be in eternal peace, no longer suffering, and for us to carry on – keeping you close in our hearts forever.  We will miss you terribly and will always love you.

As they say – and we truly believe – “Until we meet again.”
